What I love about Rosemont

Isabel Acedo, 5th Year

Coming to Ireland on my own was hard. It was a huge step for me in every way. It was a big decision. I still can’t figure out what my favourite thing about being here is, but the experience has definitely been something to remember.

One of the things that I love about the school is the people. The girls have been unbelievably nice and the teachers have been magnificent. I’ve been learning so much from every person I’ve talked to over the last few weeks. They have made me feel at home.

It has been difficult being away from my family but everything that I have gone through in Ireland has made the stay worthwhile. Ireland is a beautiful place full of things to learn.

Not only have I improved my English, but I have enhanced my confidence, my sense of responsibility and my own life. I have learned so much, I’ve laughed, cried and enjoyed myself.

I don’t know what the next 5 months will bring, but I just can’t wait to find out.
