Rosemont’s International Programme offers girls age 12-17 the opportunity to live in Ireland and study in Rosemont for a full academic year or half year.
Rosemont has cultivated relationships with educational partners across the world, making the school a popular choice for international students.
The programme has specifically been designed as a platform t help students develop skills and grow in personal responsibility. It enables students to perfect their English while being immersed in the language in school, in their host families and through receiving specific classes for a second language learners. These classes prepare students for the Cambridge First or Advanced Certificate.
What does the programme offer?
Each student has a coach who helps her develop: academically, socially, spiritually and personally.
Students have an international tutor who is available to help them on anything they might need. The tutor also monitors the student’s progress and achievement of personal targets while challenging her to become the best version of herself.
Students have the opportunity to live with an Irish host family. These families are individually selected in order to guarantee, in so far as possible, the best combination of student and family.
Students receive a full uniform and a set of books for the subjects they will be studying.
After school activities are available: supervised study, sports, drama and more.
The Saturday Programme includes: English language classes and fun activities around Dublin. Once a month a full day excursion is organised giving students the opportunity to travel around Ireland.
During the academic year four trips around Europe are organised.
