For our second midterm break, we went on another trip as usual. This time – Paris! We had an amazing week full of adventures to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Sacre Coeur, the Arc de Triumphe, and even Disneyland!
The Eiffel Tower was bigger than we expected – and colder! But, that didn’t stop us from enjoying the incredible view from the top. Notre Dame was beautiful, and getting ashes for Ash Wednesday at Sacre Coeur was something we will never forget.
To get from place to place was so easy – all we had to do was hop on the Metro and soon, we were seeing yet another iconic sight. Travelling by Metro made us all feel like real Parisians.
For breakfast, we enjoyed crepes and croissants. We went to a macaroon shop where they had macaroons in every color you can imagine, and they tasted even better than they looked! We also had an amazing ice cream cone that was shaped like a flower.
Our last day was spent at Disneyland, which was such a blast! In the morning, we took the train to get there and were bursting with excitement as we approached the entrance. Inside the park, we took many pictures with Sleeping Beauty’s Castle while wearing our Mickey Mouse ears. We rode as many rides as we could and even had a Mexican meal for lunch. Finally, our magical day ended with an incredible fireworks show!
The next morning, we got on a plane to head back to Dublin. We were sad to leave Paris but couldn’t wait to tell everyone here in Ireland about our adventures.
We can’t wait for our next trip!
In this video you will find all the fun that we had!!
